THE CONNECTED WORKFLOW

A portfolio review that leads somewhere.

A summary is useful when the next question has an answer. AEVU connects portfolios, programmes and project workspaces, so a discussion about delivery can move from the wider picture to the owner, plan or decision behind it.

01

Structure the work

Group related projects into programmes and portfolios. Keep managers, dates and the relationships between delivery commitments visible.

02

Find the intervention

Review the lifecycle distribution and projects needing attention. Follow an exception into the project rather than rebuilding the context in another spreadsheet.

03

Keep commercial context close

Read portfolio values and agreed terms alongside the project structure. Financial information follows the permissions of the person viewing it.

FROM QUESTION TO ACTION

Make the next step clear.

01

Organise

Establish the portfolio, identify the responsible manager and group related initiatives into programmes.

02

Review

Use project health, gate progress and exceptions to focus the portfolio conversation.

03

Follow through

Open the relevant project, inspect its evidence and bring the next decision back into the governed workflow.

A CLOSER LOOK

Good questions.
Clear answers.

What is the difference between a portfolio and a programme?

In AEVU, a portfolio provides a management structure for projects and programmes. A programme groups related projects with its own manager, status and dates. Projects hold the detailed delivery work.

Can a project be created without a programme?

Yes. A programme is an optional grouping. Teams can organise projects within the wider portfolio structure without inventing a programme for every piece of work.

Can leaders see the source of an exception?

Yes. Portfolio and reporting views connect to the project context. Access to the underlying records still follows the viewer’s permissions.
